Augmented Eternity refers to a technology that uses data from an individual’s lifelong online presence to create a non-sentient ‘digital mind’ that continues to exist after their death. This digital being can communicate with others by predicting how the deceased would think, speak and behave, and can replicate aspects of their appearance, personality and mannerisms.

Recall is a phenomenon that allows individual memories of a deceased person to be copied and implanted into another person’s memory. The recipient experiences the implanted memory as though they personally experienced the event, including its associated emotions, while remaining aware that the memory originally belonged to the deceased.
